Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a Home Health RN with a WI or compact license and BLS certification for in-home patient care.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a home health setting providing in-home visits within a 40-mile service area
  • Day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8 : 30 AM to 4 : 30 PM, with variable end times
  • Call coverage is required as needed
  • Rotation includes every third weekend
  • Required to cover patients in community-based retirement homes within the Beaver Dam area
  • Candidate may not reside within a 60-mile radius of the facility
  • Responsible for in-home assessments, care planning, and implementation of nursing interventions
  • Mileage reimbursed according to current IRS policy
  • Must work at least one major holiday during assignment
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Modules and orientation will be provided and must be completed as scheduled
  • COVID-19 vaccine is not required for this assignment
  • Travelers who have previously worked at this facility must have a one-year gap after any 52-week traveler assignment before returning

    • \n \n Requirements\n

  • Active WI or compact RN license required for consideration
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Experience with Hoyer lift, EZ lift, and sit-to-stand lift preferred
  • Participation in Bed Side Shift Reporting (BSSR), AIDET, and hourly rounding is required
  • Must provide two references, with at least one from a supervisor
