Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Price Analyst to oversee all aspects of cost management, ensuring pricing accuracy, profitability, and smooth customer transactions. This role will be responsible for processing and validating cost changes, reviewing and reconciling invoices, resolving discrepancies, and monitoring overall pricing performance to support our business goals.
Work Schedule
- This position requires onsite presence Monday-Thursdays for 8-hour shifts from 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 00 PM. Remote work is permitted on Fridays, allowing employees to work from home.
Key Responsibilities
Cost Management & Updates
Receive, review, and implement cost changes from customers in a timely and accurate manner.Maintain up-to-date and accurate cost records in the system.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure updated costs are reflected across all platforms and reports.Invoice Review & Reconciliation
Audit incoming invoices to verify pricing accuracy and adherence to cost of goods in systems.Review and validate promotional pricing and cost adjustments to ensure they are correctly applied.Identify and investigate discrepancies between expected and billed costs, including those related to promotional discounts or incentives.Work directly with customers and internal departments to resolve cost disputes promptly.Customer & Stakeholder Communication
Act as a primary point of contact for cost-related inquiries and adjustments.Maintain clear and professional communication with customers.Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure smooth implementation of cost adjustmentsGet intimate with data, catalogs, and internal systemsAccruals & Billing Back Customers
Review and verify accruals to ensure accuracy and completeness.Prepare and issue accurate billing to customers for accrual-related charges.Reconcile accrual billing with actual costs to prevent over / undercharging.Promotional Pricing
Request from vendor and manage a promotional calendarPerform analytical evaluation to assess promotional pricing ROI and inventory buy-in at promotional costsQualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.2-4 years of proven experience in billing, cost management, or similar roles.Strong proficiency in Excel and ERP / accounting systems.Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.If youre analytical, meticulous, and passionate about getting the numbers right, wed love to hear from you!
