Momentum is hiring an Assistant Program Manager to support disabled individuals in an Adult Day Program (ADP) setting. As an Assistant Program Manager, you will be responsible for promoting the programs objectives, by creating an environment where people feel welcomed, invited, and supported in their personal and group exploration of the projects and hands-on activities. Assistant Program Manager Essential Duties :
Promotes a friendly, comfortable, and safe environmentRespects and promotes the right of individualsCollaborates with Program Manager to promote program objectivesAssists the Program Manager in the supervision of program staffUnderstands and manages regulations for Community Care licensingMaintains a clean, orderly, and safe environmentInventories and orders program suppliesConducts service observations daily and accurately document observationsEffectively coaches instructors and direct support staff to improve people supported program implementationPrepares accurate annual and semi-annual individual service plan reports (ISP's)Monitors quality assurance and individual satisfaction with service provisionWorks directly with people supported, families, and service providers regarding ISP'sAssist people attending the program with program activities and community-based activitiesAssist people attending the program with communication, feeding, mobility, toileting, hygiene, and other activities of daily livingFollows and implements company policiesPerforms other duties as assigned to meet departments and / or business needsAssistant Program Manager Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent; requiredCollege courses or credits in human services; preferredMinimum of one (1) year of supervisory experience; requiredMinimum of five (5) year of experience working with adults developmental disabilities; requiredAbility to maintain confidentialityCommunicate and work professionally and cooperatively with othersSuccessfully pass all post offer, pre-employment screening requirements, including criminal background check, drug screening, physical exam, and provide proof of eligibility to work in the United StatesAbility to run, push, pull, bend, squat, kneel, and lift up to fifty (50) poundsValid and current proof of legal right to drive in California; preferredWith 40 programs and service sites spanning several counties, Momentum is the largest nonprofit provider of direct support for individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities in Southern California.
