Experienced Python Developer - Contractor Role (Remote - Full Time)

We’re looking for an Experienced Python Developer (Contractor) with strong proficiency in Django and Flask to join our engineering team on an ongoing project. You’ll collaborate directly with the client to enhance and scale a tracking and vision-based platform that integrates computer vision with modern Python web frameworks. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using Python, Django, and Flask.
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs to support real-time tracking and analytics.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers to ensure seamless data integration and user experience.
• Implement automated testing, CI / CD pipelines, and best coding practices.
• Contribute to infrastructure setup and containerization (Docker, Nix, Kubernetes).
• Participate in daily stand-ups and proactively communicate with stakeholders.

The projected  hourly range for this position is from $47.00 to $57.00 / hour,  determined by the candidate's interview outcome, skills, experience, education, and alignment with market data.
