Rockstar Games is looking for a highly capable and experienced Motion Graphics Artist to join our Video Production Department.

The ideal candidate has Motion Graphics experience across multiple formats and genres. They will be creative thinkers, able to help craft a compelling narrative and work with a team to execute a vision at the highest level.

This is a full-time, in-office position based out of Rockstar’s NYC headquarters in Downtown Manhattan.

What We Do

The Motion Graphics Team creates motion graphics assets of the highest quality, ambition and precision. This includes developing standalone pieces as well as assets that are featured in Trailers, Social Media releases, TV commercials and Cinema campaigns.

Responsibilities

Create high-quality 2D & 3D Motion Graphics for trailers and other marketing assets.

Respond to feedback from directors and producers accurately and creatively to ensure a unified vision is properly executed.

Maintain the highest levels of quality control and attention to detail.

Collaborate with other artists to break down the Motion Graphics needs of any given project.

Versioning of final assets for use in international markets and across various platforms.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree and 5+ years of related experience.

Proven professional experience delivering high quality 2D and 3D Motion Graphics.

Fluent in After Effects and C4D (Octane and / or Redshift).

Skills

Experience and familiarity of various Motion Graphics and postproduction pipelines.

Strong organizational skills and eye for quality control.

Ability to work well with various styles and methods of execution.

Strong creative skills and motion design sensibilities.

Must be comfortable and have experience working in a team environment with other artists as part of a larger production pipeline.

PLUSES

Please note that these are desirable skills and are not required to apply for the position.

Experience in Film / TV Motion Title sequences.

Design experience and ability to create style frames.

The pay range for this position in New York State (inclusive of New York City) at the start of employment is expected to be between the range below

per year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and / or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department / team performance, and market factors.
