Location : Peoria, IL 61637

Healthcare Setting : Level 1 Trauma Center Emergency Department

Assignment Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 10 / 2025 – End : 2 / 9 / 2026)

Nursing Shift : 12-hour nights (7p-7a), 3 shifts per week

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week

Schedule : Rotating weekends and holidays

Charting System : EPIC

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1880 - $2020 per week

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license or proof of application

Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department nursing experience required; 2 years preferred

Previous travel nursing experience preferred

Required Certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC or TNS

Proficient in titrating vasopressor, cardiac, and antihypertensive drips

SANE RN experience preferred

Experience in teaching hospitals with residents preferred

Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to life-threatening arrhythmias

Negative drug screen required

ER RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages with medical and trauma-related conditions

Collaborate with physicians, mid-level providers, charge nurses, and ED techs

Respond to cardiac arrests, strokes, heart attacks, and trauma cases

Titrate and administer critical care medications and drips

Draw labs and assist with respiratory equipment as needed

Float to other units as needed (rare)

Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC

Comply with department policies, including rotating weekends and holidays
