Dental Assistant Full-Time - SPRINGFIED DENTISTRY 4 KIDS

We have the job for you! SPRINGFIELD DENTISTRY 4 KIDS is offering a full-time opportunity as a Dental Assistant at our MISSOURI office. We are an upbeat team looking for an individual who has a passion for helping others and wants to make a positive difference in their community.

CERTIFICATIONS : CDA or RDA required, X-ray certification preferred

EXPERIENCE : Must have Dental Assistant certification

JOB TYPE : Full-time

SCHEDULE : MONDAY-FRIDAY

PAY : Starting at $18.00

BONUS PAY : up to $500 additional per month

    • SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

  • Work chair-side with dentists, perform patient care, and general laboratory duties
  • Take and process dental radiographs (x-rays)
  • Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
  • Take impressions of the patient's teeth (models), extractions, composite fillings, etc...
  • Teach patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health (e.g., tooth brushing, flossing, and nutritional counseling)
  • Ask about the patient's medical history and take blood pressure and pulse
  • Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment
  • Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
