We are seeking an experienced Licensed Land Surveyor / Survey Manager to lead our survey operations for high-profile civil, transportation, and municipal projects .
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple field crews and office technicians for civil and transportation projects.
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, QA / QC, and client communications.
- Coordinate with VDOT and local municipalities for roadway, utility corridor, and infrastructure surveys.
- Drive business growth through proposal development and client relationship management.
- Mentor and develop survey staff through coaching, performance reviews, and career planning.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local survey regulations .
Must-Have Qualifications
Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license or ability to sit for the exam within 6 months (exam fees covered).12+ years of survey experience, including at least 5 years in a supervisory or management role.Strong DOT / municipal project experience.Proficiency in Bentley MicroStation / OpenRoads and AutoCAD Civil 3D .High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's in Surveying or Civil Technology preferred).Preferred Skills
Subsurface utility locating / designating expertise.Experience with LiDAR, aerial mapping, or sUAS operations .Compensation & Benefits
