Position – Brake Press Operator

Job Location – Neenah, WI

Starting Date – ASAP

Employment Term – Temp to hire

Employment Type – Full time

Work Hours (Shift) – 2nd shift

Starting Pay – $20 to $25 / hr

Required Experience – At least 2 years of experience

As a Brake Press Operator, you'll be crucial in shaping metal components to exact specifications. You'll work with various materials and ensure that every piece meets our high standards of quality and accuracy.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC brake presses to bend, punch, and form metal parts according to blueprints and specifications.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders.
Perform quality checks using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, protractors, etc.) to ensure dimensional accuracy.
Adjust machine settings to maintain part quality and optimize production.
Conduct routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Brake Press Operator, preferably with CNC machines.

Strong understanding of metal forming principles and tooling.

Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and schematics.

Proficiency with precision measuring instruments.

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong problem-solving skills.

Physical ability to lift and move materials as needed and stand for extended periods.
