Job Title : Senior Payroll Administrator (Temporary, Part-Time, Hybrid)

Location : Huntington Beach

Type : Temporary, Part-Time (24 hours a week) and Hybrid : Mon / Wed in office, Fri remote)

You will be considered for the permanent position which is full-time hours, Monday-Friday

About the Opportunity :

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a skilled Senior Payroll Administrator for a dynamic and mission-driven health insurance organization specializing in Medicare Advantage plans. This is a unique opportunity to join a company that values holistic and culturally sensitive healthcare, serving diverse communities with innovative benefits and multilingual support.

Due to an urgent vacancy, we are looking for a temporary, part-time payroll professional to support the payroll function during a critical transition period. If successful, there is strong potential for this role to convert to a full-time, permanent position.

Key Responsibilities :

Manage full-cycle payroll processing for approximately 235 employees (multi-state, exempt and non-exempt; no commissions)

Administer payroll reports and 401K contributions

Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations

Utilize Paycom payroll system for all payroll functions

Collaborate with the VP and Controller, reporting directly to them after the transition

Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all payroll matters

Requirements :

Proven experience with Paycom payroll system

Multi-state payroll experience required

Ability to handle both exempt and non-exempt payroll

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Availability to start by October 27th, with one week of training provided by the outgoing payroll manager
