Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring Epic experience and night shift availability.

Responsibilities

  • Position is in an acute care hospital Labor & Delivery unit
  • Care provided to laboring, postpartum, and neonatal patients
  • Unit includes 4 labor and delivery rooms and 5 postpartum rooms
  • Typical patient census is 35-40 deliveries per month
  • Night shift position with 12-hour shifts, occasional 8-hour shifts as needed
  • Utilizes EpicCare Inpatient EMR; Epic experience required
  • Responsibilities include providing comprehensive care for laboring and postpartum patients and their newborns
  • Night shift work with flexibility for some shifts to be 8 hours if needed
  • Orientation hours are not included with this assignment
  • STABLE certification is preferred but not mandatory for consideration

    • Requirements

  • Active WA or compact RN license required
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
  • Current AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AFM), BLS (AHA), and NRP certifications required
  • Experience with neonatal monitoring required
  • Epic charting experience required
  • STABLE certification preferred
