We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic for a long-term, direct hire position in West Chester, PA Pay is $30-40 / h depending on experience Comprehensive employee benefits such as 401k match, PTO, health insurance and more!

First shift (6 am -3 :

  • 30 pm Monday to Friday) Responsibilities for Maintenance Mechanic : Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and welding-related issues.
  • Set up and adjust equipment to meet operational requirements.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance according to established schedules and procedures.
  • Complete required Corrective and Preventive Work Orders accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate closely with operations and production teams to ensure equipment uptime and assist in achieving production goals.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized maintenance shop and adhere to all safety standards and procedures.
  • Safely operate forklifts to move materials and equipment as needed.
  • Follow lockout / tagout, confined space entry, and all company safety protocols.
  • Must be able to lift and pull up to 50 lbs regularly as part of daily tasks.

Qualifications for Maintenance Mechanic :

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance or mechanic role, preferably in metals or heavy manufacturing environments.
  • Working knowledge of machine shop tools and equipment, including hand / power tools and electronic measuring devices.
  • Demonstrated experience with mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical troubleshooting.
  • Ability to read equipment manuals, blueprints, and schematic diagrams.
  • Forklift operation experience (certification preferred but not required).
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred.

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience working in the metals manufacturing industry or with furnace, casting, or alloy-processing equipment.
  • Basic welding and fabrication skills.
  • Electrical experience on plant machinery / equipment Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) for tracking work orders and maintenance schedules.
