RAPP Detroit is looking for a Senior Print Producer to join our award-winning Program Management team.
YOUR ROLE :
Your role as a Senior Print Producer will support production efforts through professional expertise, interpersonal skills and creative thinking. Builds effective internal and external vendor relationships, implements quality improvements and ensures delivery of desired results. Provides direction, support and feedback for team members. Contributes to the achievement of client satisfaction, departmental and strategic business objectives in accordance with values and represents RAPP in the community. Multi task, working closely with their partners in the Agency to meet client goals.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES :
Define and implement print production process, working closely with the Studio, Delivery, and Creative Leads
Coordinate production activity between account and creative groups during project development
Supply specifications for vendors’ estimates
Build and maintain a positive working relationship with the creative department and take a proactive approach to new formats, materials, etc.
Be able to advise your team of the best formats and efficiencies and give creative solutions to produce a better product and to meet the budgetary requirements of the client
Be able to take on projects and work independently; proactively identify and help resolve problems when issues arise and know when to escalate to a supervisor
Be able to handle multiple accounts and complex accounts
Adhere to and promote correct departmental procedures to team members
Issue all paperwork, including estimates / POs, in a timely manner
Accept and proactively support new challenges and quality improvement efforts
Proactively track trends in business and the marketplace relevant to client businesses
REQUIRED SKILLS :
You have 5+ years of print and direct mail production experience
You have highly developed interpersonal, team building and relationship management skills
You have the ability to analyze and resolve problems quickly and effectively with little supervision
You are high energy, self-motivated, and able to work independently
You have some supervisory / management skills
You have strong knowledge of various print processes, lettershop, postal, personalization and pre-press
You have knowledge of electronic and traditional studios
You have extensive experience in various printing methods (sheet, digital, Web, form, in-line, promotional material, dimensional)
You have extensive knowledge of lettershop function, including sheet versus continuous laser, machinability versus hand insertion
You have knowledge of papers, especially with emphasis on laserability
You have complete knowledge of all aspects of postal requirements
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project.

This range is specific to Detroit and multiple factors are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to : skill set, experience and training, certifications; etc. This is an exempt position.
