PCU Registered Nurse Job Details Job Title : Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse – Travel Assignment Location : Phoenix, AZ 85037 (Arizona nursing jobs) Assignment Type : Travel nursing Start Date : December 15, 2025 End Date : March 16, 2026 Contract Duration : 13 weeks Hours per Week : 36 Shift : 12 Hour Days (7 : 00 AM – 7 : 30 PM) Guaranteed Hours : 24 per week On Call : Schedule determined by facility Weekend Schedule : To be determined by facility Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1990 - $2130 PCU RN Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent Progressive Care Unit (PCU) nursing experience Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona (AZ RN license) Required certifications : ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA) – must be active Travel nursing experience preferred Flu vaccination required (declinations considered) No Arizona home address on driver’s license Compliance with facility background check requirements Submission of completed resume, skills checklist (within 1 year), and license verification (within 30 days) At least 1 year of overall nursing experience PCU Nurse Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in the Progressive Care Unit Monitor and assess patients with complex medical conditions Administer medications and prescribed treatments Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans Accurately document patient care and clinical interventions Educate patients and families on care plans and health management Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and compliance standards Discover rewarding travel nursing jobs in Arizona and experience the best of Phoenix while advancing your career as a PCU Registered Nurse.
