Job Description

As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver in Zeeland, MI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food / Beverage, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a food and beverage location, you will conduct regular patrols to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure atmosphere. Your presence and attentiveness will contribute to a welcoming environment for all individuals onsite. This position requires a valid driver's license, as you may be responsible for driving as part of your patrols. Join a team that values integrity, teamwork, and innovation while putting people first. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while representing Allied Universal.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or address any unusual circumstances.
  • Monitor access points and observe activities within the food and beverage production environment to help to deter prohibited actions and / or potential hazards.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, maintenance issues, or unusual occurrences according to site protocols.
  • Work collaboratively with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to support a secure and orderly environment for employees, visitors, and contractors.
  • Remain alert and ready to assist with emergency response activities, following site-specific procedures at all times.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
