What success looks like in this role :

As companies around the world re-imagine their business through the lens of AI and the capabilities it offers to drive business outcomes, Unisys is putting its' best foot forward in seeking an AI Technologist.

In this role, the successful candidate will :

1. Leverage technical and industry expertise to analyze, evaluate, and respond to client requirements as requested.

2. Be a trusted advisor to sales teams as we explore how AI can be leveraged to drive significant business outcomes.

3. Understand and articulate the products and services that the company offers, while working with the business units to close any gaps that may exist (with internal or external partners).

4. Be a subject matter expert on how AI can create business outcomes (FinOps, Consumption models, Delivery capabilities, Ecosystem capabilities).

5. Enable internal and external organizations around Unisys' value proposition and capabilities. You will drive continuous improvement in messaging, capabilities and delivery through influence.

As an AI Technologist, you will be a part of Unisys' Global AI Practice. As such, you will :

1. Integrate with and become a trusted part of account teams, business units, and other groups within Unisys as it applies to AI capabilities.

2. Align with engineering organizations, pre-sales technologists, the Enterprise oCTO, and other groups within the company as it relates to AI, HPC, Quantum and related technology stacks.

3. Determine client requested fit for use case capabilities and platforms that are aligned with Unisys products, services, delivery capabilities, and company strategy.

4. Develop and deliver compelling presentation materials, white papers, and associated thought leadership artifacts that are relevant to Unisys services, products, and offerings.

5. Contribute your point of view on a variety of topics, including AI strategies, use case applicability, capabilities and offerings.

• Provides presales solution architecture services across materially significant, strategically important clients and client groups.
• Lead in the development of complex, tailored solutions, ensuring alignment with client needs and Unisys offerings, often incorporating emerging technologies.
• Develop and deliver high-level presentations and demos, articulating the value of proposed solutions to senior-level managers and decision-makers.
• Work with sales, product development and engineering teams to align proposed solutions with business objectives, ensuring technical feasibility and optimal client outcomes.
• Oversee and contributes to preparation of technical responses for RFPs and RFIs, ensuring competitive and technically sound submissions.
• Evaluate potential risks, ensuring that solutions comply with operational standards, security protocols and applicable regulations.
• Foster long-term client relations, providing trusted advice and counsel from a technical and operational perspective.

In addition, you will lead virtual teams through influence, and specialize in the following areas :

1. Expert level knowledge and ability to articulate physical & virtual infrastructure, software platforms & frameworks, use case applications, automation platforms and AI driven insights into full-stack AI outcomes, including on-premises and hyperscaler cloud environments.

2. Functional expert in Unisys and partner built AI applications, and are able to craft demos, PoC environments and leverage standards based toolsets (Jupityr Notebooks, Python, NVIDIA AI Workbench, Google AI Studio, Azure AI Builder, Amazon Bedrock, etc).

3. Expert level knowledge of practical application of AI across business functions. You understand capabilities in existing Unisys platforms, and are able to articulate client needs and alignment with Unisys roadmaps / capabilities

4. Maintain an intellectual curiosity and are able to study, understand and articulate at any level what coming trends, capabilities, and platforms mean and how they align with business driven outcomes

5. Consistently deliver and articulate strategies for AI development, deployment and consumption based on the person you're speaking with

5(a). Market trends, what peer companies in a client's business segment are doing with AI to meet business outcomes

5(b). Unisys services / products and how they align to strategy (customer strategy, Unisys strategy)

6. Become a trusted advisor within the company for the alignment of technical elements within a platform to business outcomes

7. Act as an internal evangelist and influencer through adjacent organizations / BU's and through everyday interaction with Unisys associates

8. Contribute to the company's Point of View as it pertains to AI capabilities, emerging capabilities within related technical fields (HPC, Quantum, others)

You will be successful in this role if you have :

BA / BS degree and 12+ years' relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

Master's degree preferred

1. Expert level knowledge and ability to articulate physical infrastructure, software platforms & frameworks, use case applications, automation platforms and AI driven insights into full-stack AI outcomes, whether on-premises or in hyperscaler cloud environments

2. xBU functional expert on developing AI applications, using standards based toolsets (Jupityr Notebooks, Python, NVIDIA AI Workbench, Google AI Studio, Azure AI Builder, Amazon Bedrock

3. Expert level knowledge of practical application of AI across business functions. Understands capabilities in existing Unisys platforms, and is able to articulate client needs and alignment with Unisys roadmaps / capabilities

4. Able to study, understand and articulate at any level what coming trends, capabilities, and platforms mean and how they align with business driven outcomes
