Software Quality Assurance Tester (Embedded)

Join our team to support a growing portfolio of electromechanical medical devices with embedded software systems. This role is critical in ensuring product quality and compliance through hands-on testing, automation, and cross-functional collaboration.

💵 Rate : $40–45 / hr (W2 only)

📑 Type : 12-month contract (with 6-month performance review checkpoint; potential for long-term engagement)

What you’ll do :

🔹 Perform manual and automated testing for electromechanical devices and embedded systems

🔹 Design, develop, and execute test cases (Python / LabVIEW / C#)

🔹 Collaborate with developers to identify and resolve defects

🔹 Execute software V&V, documentation, and risk mitigation activities

🔹 Support testing during design, verification / validation, and post-release investigations

What we’re looking for :

• ️ Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
• ️ 3–5+ years of software testing experience
• ️ Proficiency in test automation (Python, LabVIEW, or C#)
• ️ Strong documentation and programming skills

✨ Bonus : Experience in FDA-regulated environments, embedded systems, or Azure DevOps
