The Receiver, Exciter & Back-End Processing Department (REBP) department is composed of an energetic multi-disciplinary team working collaboratively with internal and external customers and programs to provide mission ready capabilities to our warfighters.  We research, develop, design, and integrate electrical (Analog, Power, RF / Microwave, and Digital) components, embedded and digital signal processing software, equipment, systems, sub-systems, and networks for the defense of domestic and foreign purposes.

As member of our team you’ll have the opportunity to work on a variety of systems and equipment from receivers, exciters and processing electronics and communications systems that support multiple Radar programs.  Some of the programs our department supports include Global Patriot ( -we-do / integrated-air-and-missile-defense / global-patriot-solutions) and Early Warning Systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in electrical design and development, an eagerness to learn, the ability to work 100% onsite and collaboratively with a team, and an interest in complex, real-time, critical systems.

This position is an onsite role.

What You Will Do

  • Circuit analysis, circuit simulation, design documentation maintenance, trade assessments for obsolescence resolution, troubleshooting and resolution of hardware performance issues and hardware integration, test and verification.
  • Integration and test of Digital, Analog, and RF components and modules.
  • Work as part of a team to analyze Hardware / Firmware test requirements / specifications to determine Hardware and Firmware requirements.
  • Develop solutions to test issues and develop productivity and efficiency enhancements.
  • Interact with test technicians, factory facilitators, operations managers, other engineers, Quality Assurance and Reliability personnel.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major.
  • This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).

  • 3.0 cumulative GPA desired.
  • Well-developed communication, technical writing, oral presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience contributing to a team environment for the purpose of developing creative solutions to complex technical problems.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment with time-critical requirements.
  • Ability to promote a culture of continuous learning, cross-team collaboration and training.

    • The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education / training, and key skills.
