CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE
Call Center
Monday - Friday
8 : 00 am - 5 : 00 pm, mandatory overtime as needed
$14.88 per hour
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Field incoming calls from existing customers to provide claims support and account servicing.
- Respond professionally and accurately to phone and mail inquiries.
- Ensure a positive customer experience with each interaction and deliver accurate documentation.
- Answer questions from insured customers and agents regarding claims and policies.
- Prepare customer correspondence and policy-related documents as needed.
- Accurately process caller transactions within defined time standards.
- Utilize internal systems and reference materials to provide timely and correct information.
- Efficiently manage time and call volume to meet service level and quality standards.
- Operate multiple systems and applications, including Microsoft Outlook and call center software.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent required; 6+ months of related experience preferred.Previous customer service or call center experience is a plus.Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to multitask.Comfortable handling confidential information with professionalism.Ability to review, record, and organize information accurately.Typing speed of at least 25 WPM required.Must complete required proficiency assessments.Strong team player with a focus on integrity and collaboration.Proficiency in computer use is essential; familiarity with Microsoft Outlook and keyboard shortcuts is a plus.
