A Brief Overview :
Endeavor Health seeks an Infectious Diseases physician to join its busy thirteen-member Infectious Diseases Division. The successful candidate will have completed an Infectious Diseases fellowship and be board certified or board eligible in Infectious Disease. Skill and an interest in teaching is encouraged.
This is a unique opportunity to join a stable group of physicians within the Infectious Diseases Division with a strong reputation for providing excellent clinical care and works collaboratively with Microbiology, Molecular Diagnostics, and Pharmacy.
What will you do :
Tailor your practice to meet your clinical interests.Train the infectious disease physicians of tomorrow with an academic appointment from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine.Participate in department activities including Grand Rounds, committees such as quality, education, or quality of life, and department, division, and other meetings where your input will be valuedProvide medical patient care by interviewing, examining and treating of clinical patients in order to meet their medical needsDetermine which referrals are required based on examination and patient needsDetermine level of urgency of follow-up, referral / consultation appointmentsExercise final medical judgment in all issues of health carePrescribe medical treatment and clinical drugs to patientsOrder studies, test and ancillary servicesDocument all services in patient medical recordReview on a regular basis long term cases that require ongoing medical attentionParticipate in quality improvement, management, continuing education, and other patient care programs established by the hospital or clinic requirementsAssist in the resolution of complaints, requests and inquiries from patientsMaintain confidentiality of all patient information according to federal guidelines and regulationsWhat you will need :
