Our Clinical Engineering team in Steamboat Springs, Colorado is excited to welcome a Biomedical Technician to our growing department. FTE : Full Time, 1.0, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift : Days

Pay : $30.24 - $45.36 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

Summary : Maintains assigned medical equipment and support systems.

Responsibilities :

• Responds to support requests. Interviews customer to determine nature and scope of the customer's issue, and the appropriate response.
• Diagnoses, resolves and closes medical equipment issues according to service level guidelines. Promptly escalates issues to higher level technical support or management when necessary.
• Performs routine safety checks, calibrations, and preventative maintenance on medical equipment and support systems.
• Demonstrates understanding of customer service policies and procedures, continuously develops depth and breadth of technical competencies.
• Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
