Responsibilities

  • Serve as key member of MRB team.
  • Own disposition of Nonconformances generated during production activity.
  • Generate Deviation requests and work with customer SQE for approval as needed.
  • Initiate, complete, and close RCCA for internal and externally driven issues.
  • Ensure compliance to ISO and all training requirements.
  • Own internal Process Audits and provide insight on Opportunities for Improvement within the QMS.
  • Generate End-Item Data Packages for final release of product (shipping documentation).
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and customer flow-down requirements.
  • Review system data and close out job; ensure transaction discipline with post-processing job review activity.
  • Identify lacking information and communicate with the responsible department to rectify.
  • Review Sub-Tier supplier documentation and validate conformance to contracted processes.
  • Post-processing records review and generation of internal certifications.
  • Validate conformance to Internal, Industry, and Customer standards and requirements.
  • When needed, work with customer SQE on creation and approval of deviation requests.
  • Complete 100% process validation and sign J&E Certificate of Conformance.
  • Balloon customer drawings, complete First Article forms IAW AS9102, review customer and industry specifications to support pre-production activities with Quality insight.
  • When required, assist with implementation of required APQP, PFMEA, PPAP documentation and customer acceptance.
  • Establish appropriate process controls and the development of control plans IAW AS9103 when required.
  • Participate in customer driven initiatives and on-site visits (i.e. Audits, ZDP, Get to Gold).
  • Serve as a representative for Quality Manager and support QMS duties as required.
  • Use customer Portals to create shipping documents, submit requests, and monitor Scorecard Performance.
  • Host customer Representatives or on-site party Source Inspection and ensure acceptance.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Required education and experience

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint).
  • Highschool diploma.
  • Experience with Manufacturing (Preferably Aerospace).
  • Preferred experience

  • Working knowledge of AS9100 and AS9102.
  • Experience with GD&T (ANSI Y14.5M.1982).
  • Previous experience with Inspection methods and techniques.
  • High attention to detail with ability to concentrate amid competing priorities.
  • Accurate, conscientious, and detail-oriented approach to all tasks.
  • Responsible with strong follow-through to ensure task completion and closure.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for internal and external interfaces.
  • Professional demeanor representing the organization internally and externally.
  • Flexible and adaptable, willing to take on new tasks and responsibilities.
  • Strong instruction-following abilities with initiative to ask questions when necessary.
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills for cross-functional coordination.
