The Daughters of Charity Ministries is a retirement community for the Sisters of the Daughters of Charity. We are located in Menands, NY in a wonderful, parklike setting. Vehicle parking is onsite. We offer 3 levels of care- independent, assisted and memory care in a person centered environment.

We have an opening for a per diem Life Enrichment Assistant. We are looking for a caring, committed and compassionate individual who enjoys working with an older population. The individual filling this role will enhance our resident's experience by providing personalized options that help each person achieve the fullest life possible, no matter the age or stage of life. This individual is a crucial link in ensuring that our residents have programming that supports, validates and enhances their quality of life. The Life Enrichment Assistant plans, implements and evaluates recreational programs for the residents. This position will assist in establishing and maintaining an enriching, person centered experience which helps each of our residents in achieving their life journey. The Life Enrichment Assistant assists and implements the monthly social calendar, events, outings and programs. They will review these programs and the level of participation for effectiveness and make changes appropriately. Experience as a resident assistant is preferred. In this position, the candidate will act as driver when transportation is needed. A clean, NYS driver's license is needed. This individual will need to be flexible in the working hours.

Prior experience as an Life Enrichment Assistant is necessary!
