About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Profession : Nursing

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience : Minimum of 1 year

License : New York license required in hand

Certifications : BLS required

Must-Have :

Must have a New York license in hand - no exceptions.

Locals accepted : No, must be more than 75-mile radius.

Proficient in EPIC charting system.

Description :

This position requires the ability to handle a patient ratio of 1 : 5 to 1 : 7 for Medical-Surgical patients.

Experience in cardiac monitoring and emergency response, including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias and use of rapid response / code teams is necessary.

Skills in IV therapy and phlebotomy, including peripheral line care / management, are required.

Experience with respiratory support such as nasal cannula, oxygen face masks, portable oxygen tanks, and non-invasive airway management is essential.

Knowledge of isolation precautions is also necessary.

Candidates must be willing to float to different units as needed.

Experience in a community hospital setting is preferred.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in key nursing skills and be committed to providing high-quality patient care.
