About The Position

Must-Have : Telemetry experience

Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias

Experience with multiple cardiac drips including Cardizem, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Milrinone, Amiodarone, Lasix, and Heparin

Description :

RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite.

Any call-offs or additional RTO on the unit could possibly result in a cancellation.

The facility cannot approve holiday RTO.

Unit accepts contracts for 13-16 weeks.

Float requirement to other telemetry units is expected.

Weekend requirement includes working 4 weekend days in a 6-week period.

Patients may have various diagnoses requiring telemetry monitoring.

Common conditions include chest pain, arrhythmias, pacemaker, or defibrillator issues.

The unit collaborates with a heart failure navigator.

Staffing ratio is 1 nurse to 5-6 patients.

Candidate must be comfortable floating to other units based on the job description.

Teamwork and adherence to all policies is essential.

Candidate is required to pass EKG testing prior to the start of the assignment.

Candidates may float within the facility or to nearby affiliate locations.

Two references from previous managers or supervisors within the past 12 months are preferred.

All candidates must adhere to fatigue policy which limits working more than 5 consecutive days or over 60 hours a week.

Modules must be completed prior to starting the assignment.
