Position Overview

Client is seeking a dedicated and professional Medical Assistant to join our multi-specialty practice, which includes Hematology / Oncology, Gynecologic Oncology, Breast Surgery, and Palliative Care. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity designed for candidates who wish to transition into a permanent role within Penn Medicine.

Key Responsibilities

Room and prepare patients for exams and procedures

Obtain and record vital signs, patient histories, and relevant clinical information

Assist physicians and nurses during patient visits and minor procedures

Handle incoming patient calls and relay messages appropriately

Schedule and coordinate patient appointments and follow-ups

Maintain and update patient records accurately in EPIC EMR

Support front-office and back-office operations as needed

Perform additional duties as assigned to ensure smooth clinic operations

Qualifications

Minimum 2 year of recent experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting ,

EPIC EMR experience is required

CCMA Certification

BLS from AHA

Commitment to patient-centered care and confidentiality (HIPAA compliance)
