Job Description
Commercial Mechanical Systems & Service is seeking a highly qualified full-time Mechanical and Piping Estimator to join our team. This position will be responsible for preparing complete and accurate project bids, including labor and material takeoffs, pricing solicitations, and bid proposals for plumbing, piping, and sheet metal scopes of work.
Qualifications
- Mechanical piping, plumbing, and sheet metal estimating experience required.
- Previous General Construction / Contractor Experience a plus.
- Ability to consistently provide quality work and successfully meet deadlines.
- Experience estimating non-mechanical scopes (architectural, structural, civil, etc.) is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) required; experience with estimating software such as QuickPen, Est-MEP, FastPipe, or Trimble preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret specifications, architectural, and mechanical drawings.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or advanced education preferred.
- Knowledge of commercial HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems.
