Power & Construction Group, Inc. has an opening for a Field Safety Specialist with the Safety Division

Salary Range : $60000-$80000 Based on experience

Location : Scottsville, NY

Position Summary :

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Field Safety Specialist to join our team. This position will play a crucial role in ensuring safety compliance and promoting a culture of safety across our field operations. This entry-level position requires a basic understanding of Safety principles and OSHA law, strong observational skills, influence, a willingness to train and educate employees, and the ability to respond effectively to safety concerns in various conditions.

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct field visits to observe crews and ensure adherence to applicable OSHA, ANSI, and industry standards.
• Monitor compliance with company policies and safe operating procedures.
• Support the Fleet Department with vehicle and equipment compliance, including Federal, State, and Local guidelines (e.g., registrations, inspections, rescue equipment).
• Train employees on company practices and maintain instructor certifications for :

First Aid, CPR, AED

Qualifications :

Utility work : OSHA 1910.269 and other utility standards
