Recruiter - Clinical

The Recruiter - Clinical is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process for nursing, allied health, and other licensed clinical positions across the organization. This role partners with nursing leadership, department managers, and HR Business Partners to develop sourcing strategies, build pipelines, and ensure a positive candidate experience. The Recruiter supports the organization's mission by attracting and hiring qualified clinical professionals who deliver exceptional patient care. A key metric will be reducing outside recruitment spending.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full-Cycle Recruitment
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for clinical positions including Registered Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Allied Health professionals, and other licensed staff.
  • Partner with hiring managers and clinical leaders to understand staffing needs and candidate requirements.
  • Develop and post job requisitions across internal and external platforms.
  • Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and recommend qualified candidates.
  • Facilitate interview scheduling, selection processes, and reference checks.
  • Sourcing & Talent Pipelines
  • Utilize diverse sourcing strategies including job boards, social media, nursing schools, career fairs, and community partnerships.
  • Build and maintain pipelines for high-volume or hard-to-fill clinical roles.
  • Represent the organization at clinical career fairs, networking events, and community outreach activities.
  • Candidate Experience & Employer Branding
  • Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience from application through onboarding.
  • Communicate effectively with candidates, providing timely updates and feedback.
  • Support employer branding initiatives to promote the organization as an employer of choice for clinical talent.
  • Compliance & Reporting
  • Ensure recruitment practices comply with federal, state, and local employment laws, licensure requirements, and organizational policies.
  • Maintain accurate applicant tracking system (ATS) records and prepare recruitment reports / metrics as needed.
  • Partner with HRIS and Operations teams to support data integrity in recruitment systems.
  • Collaboration & Partnerships
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners, Nursing leadership, and department managers to align recruitment strategies with staffing priorities.
  • Partner with Compensation & Benefits to ensure job offers are competitive and consistent with pay practices.
  • Work with Talent Acquisition leadership to continuously improve recruitment processes and outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Education : Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • Experience : Minimum of 2 4 years of recruitment or talent acquisition experience, with at least 2 years focused on healthcare or clinical roles preferred.
  • Strong sourcing, interviewing, and candidate assessment skills.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms (ADP).
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple searches and competing priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
