We are seeking a highly experienced Java Developer with deep, hands-on expertise in the Clear2Pay platform. This role is critical to supporting our mid-term strategy as we transition away from Clear2Pay. The ideal candidate will possess intimate knowledge of Clear2Pay's architecture, deployment, and codebase, along with strong Java EE development and architectural skills. This position requires full lifecycle software development experience and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems across diverse environments.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead the analysis of user requirements to define system objectives and envision Clear2Pay-related features and functionality.
  • Design and develop user interfaces for internet / intranet applications, setting expectations and prioritizing features throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Determine appropriate design methodologies and toolsets; complete programming tasks using Java and related technologies.
  • Conduct rigorous testing and validation of applications to ensure reliability and performance.
  • Troubleshoot development and production issues across multiple environments and operating platforms.
  • Create and maintain documentation and user assistance tools to support system users.

Qualifications

  • Direct experience working with or building Clear2Pay systems, including knowledge of its architecture, deployment, and code.
  • Strong hands-on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms.
  • Proficient in Object-Oriented Analysis and Design using common design patterns.
  • Excellent knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and ORM technologies such as JPA2 and Hibernate.
  • Experience with the Spring Framework and at least one popular web framework (e.g., JSF, Wicket, GWT, Spring MVC).
  • Solid understanding of Java J2EE and Hibernate technologies.
  • Proven ability to manage the full software development lifecycle—from concept and design to testing and deployment.
