Infrastructure Administrator

Overview

Herzog Contraction Corp. is currently seeking a Infrastructure Administrator in St. Joseph, MO to join our team.

An Infrastructure Administrator is responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and security of a company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and software. This role ensures the efficient and secure operation of IT systems, often involving both on-premise and cloud-based environments. They troubleshoot issues, implement updates, and contribute to the overall IT strategy.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• This is a non-exhaustive overview of the job duties for this position.
• Installing, configuring, and maintaining servers, operating systems, and related software and hardware.
• Managing local and wide area networks, including firewalls, routers, and wireless systems.
• Implementing and maintaining security solutions, such as firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems.
• Identifying and resolving technical issues related to hardware, software, and network systems.
• Continuously monitoring systems for performance, security breaches, and other potential problems.
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation, including system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
• Collaborating with other IT staff, vendors, and end-users to address issues and implement solutions.
• Participating in IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new implementations.
• May also involve managing cloud-based services and infrastructure, such as Azure or AWS.
• Regular and consistent engagement, participation and promotion of Herzog's Culture and its essential behaviors are a requirement for this position.
• Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality are a requirement for this position.
• Other duties as assigned.
