Telemetry RN Job Details – Springfield, IL

Location : Springfield, IL 62769 (Illinois nursing jobs)

Unit : Cardiac / Pulmonary (Telemetry)

Employment Type : Travel Nursing (Travel RN jobs)

Start Date : November 24, 2025

End Date : March 15, 2026

Duration : 16 weeks

Shift : 12-hour night shifts (NOC), every other weekend

Hours per Week : 36

Patient Ratios : 1 : 6-7, with 2 techs supporting the unit

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1950-$2090

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license (must be in hand at time of submission)

Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry nursing experience (Telemetry RN experience)

Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications

Strong clinical skills in cardiac and pulmonary patient care

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Telemetry RN Responsibilities

Monitor and assess cardiac and pulmonary telemetry patients

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

Collaborate with physicians, techs, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members

Document patient care and progress accurately in the clinical setting

Provide compassionate support and education to patients and families

Maintain a safe and efficient work environment in the telemetry unit
