Responsibilities
As a Lead Infant / Toddler Teacher, you will be given the tools, resources, and training to :
Navigate the day's activities alongside our infants, offering gentle guidance and support as they navigate their first steps.Manage the Infant classroom ensuring compliance with all Office of Child Care regulations, company standards, policies, and procedures.Provide a welcoming and friendly classroom environment for all children, parents, and visitors.Create and implement thorough, timely lesson plans that are age-appropriate and stimulating in accordance with Celebree's infant curriculumEnsure the classroom is a safe, clean, and inviting space where curiosity can flourish.Accurately complete all paperwork, electronic reports, supervision records, and attendance trackingQualifications
Must meet the requirements to be a Lead Teacher as approved by MSDE's Office of Child Care (the governing State agency).This position requires comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the behavioral and developmental stages of children and knowledge of childcare licensing requirementsThe ability to manage a classroom, including strong organizational, communication (verbal and written), and problem-solving skills. patience, flexibility.Physical Demands
The physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. The job requires frequent bending, stooping, squatting, reaching, lifting and carrying; ability to lift 50 pounds.
Education / Experience
Must meet all Teacher requirements per State regulations.
Specific Skills
Certification in CPR & First Aid.Computer skills, familiar with educational software and curriculum.Education
High school or equivalent (Preferred)License / Certification
