As a Security Officer - Access Control Specialist in Buckeye, AZ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.

As an Allied Universal Security Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will focus on access control duties, monitoring entry points and verifying badges to help to deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and interact with employees and visitors to provide outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling the premises by vehicle as needed. What You’ll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the manufacturing and industrial location.

Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises to maintain compliance with site-specific access protocols.

Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and contractors with access-related inquiries and directions.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to observe and report any security-related concerns or irregularities.

Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client requirements.

Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal supervisors to address access control and security-related needs as they arise.

Support emergency response activities when appropriate, following location-specific policies and procedures.

What We’re Looking For :

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.

CPR certification is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Access control and / or badge experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
