OCI - O&M (Observability & Management) Technical Architect (Contract W2)

Remote client with periodic travel is looking for a seasoned Observability & Management consultant to support implementation projects on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). The role will engage in monitoring, logging, security, cost governance, and DevOps aspects to deliver end‑to‑end solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain OCI Observability & Management solutions.
  • Configure OCI Monitoring, Logging, and Performance Monitoring for applications, databases, and infrastructure.
  • Integrate OCI APIs and SDKs with other Oracle Cloud services for end‑to‑end observability.
  • Perform vulnerability scanning, patch management, and security posture management on OCI.
  • Analyze cost and usage data to provide cost‑gauge and governance recommendations.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on DevOps practices, CI / CD, and automation on OCI.

Qualifications

  • Strong technical background in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure monitoring and logging.
  • Experience with Oracle Database, OCI Database Services and monitoring.
  • Hands‑on knowledge of Application Performance Monitoring and integration with OCI services.
  • Familiarity with OCI Security, patch management, and vulnerability scanning.
  • Experience in OCI Cost Analysis, cost governance, and usage optimization.
  • Knowledge of OCI DevOps tools and CI / CD pipelines.
  • Contract or project‑based engagement desired.
