Practice Description-

The Hospitalist will be responsible for on-site coverage for all hospitalized patients age 16 and older. The primary service will be unassigned patients, Long Term Care, Health Center and contracted physician / physician groups whose patients are admitted to the hospital or placed in observation. Consultative medicine services will also be provided to hospitalized patients, including patients of the Colby center. If service size allows, patients of surgical groups may also be admitted to the primary service. This position is on duty seven days a week, every other week for 12 hour shifts to ensure 24 hour coverage 365 days of the year.

Educational Requirements / Qualifications :

Must be Board eligible or Board certified in Internal Medicine and will maintain credentials and training in all appropriate critical care skills including, but not limited to, ACLS, critical and intensive care, and airway management. Critical and intensive care experience required. DCS Certification required.
