DESCRIPTION OF WORK
The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (PUC) is hiring an engineer to fill a Fixed Utility Valuation Engineer Trainee (FUVE-T) or Civil Engineer Trainee (CET) position within the PUC's Bureau of Technical Utility Services (TUS). The TUS FUVE-T / CET will work with senior FUVEs and other staff on developing a working knowledge of the state and federal regulatory policies and environment as it pertains to the water, wastewater, and stormwater industry and jurisdictional utilities. The FUVE-T / CET will learn how to review and evaluate the filings submitted by fixed utilities from an engineering perspective. The FUVE-T / CET will also learn how to prepare written orders, reports, memos, and other documents for internal and external stakeholders on topics and issues related to water, wastewater and stormwater service.

Work Schedule and Additional Information :
1. To be eligible to participate in telework, the employee's alternate (telework) worksite must meet the following requirements. The telework worksite must be located : 1) within a reasonable travel distance of Harrisburg, and 2) within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
