Job Summary :
The Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative plays a vital role as the face of the company, providing direct patient interaction during routine health screenings or critical diagnostic procedures. This role requires high-quality specimen collection, precise preparation for lab testing, and consistent application of safety and confidentiality protocols in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Perform all daily activities accurately and on time under the supervision of the area lead.
Maintain a safe and professional work environment.
Execute both forensic and clinical specimen collection with confidence and in adherence to established protocols.
Verify patient identity, demographics, and obtain signatures post-venipuncture to ensure proper labeling.
Document and maintain all required records accurately.
Foster trust and confidence during patient interactions and maintain a positive image of the company.
Required Experience :
Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Nice-to-Have Experience :
2+ years working in a Patient Service Center environment.
Customer service background in a retail or service setting.
Experience with keyboard / data entry systems.
Required Skills :
Advanced phlebotomy skills including pediatric and geriatric draws
Ability to multi-task in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
Proven customer service excellence
Preferred Skills :
Flexible schedule availability (including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime)
Commitment to all company policies, including safety and dress code
Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions independently
Reliable transportation and valid drivers license (if required)
