JOB TITLE : High School Science Teacher

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university. Valid Michigan teacher certificate required. Highly Qualified to teach in the State of Michigan.
• Science 6-12 Endorsement
• Knowledge of subject / content area.
• Ability to impart subject matter. Skills to work cooperatively with students, parents, and staff.
• Demonstrated mental / physical ability and stamina for meeting the essential duties of the position.

Terms of Employment

Salary and benefits per master contract based on experience and qualifications. New teachers start at step 3. Please see the current contract here. $2000 signing bonus and $3000 stipend at the beginning of the following school year.

Evaluation

Evaluated annually using the district-adopted evaluation tool, by a building administrator.
