Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the overall strategy, business operations, and financial performance of the Project Advisory practice.
  • Lead the growth of the practice by identifying opportunities and developing solutions to proactively respond to market changes.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in developing client solutions and oversee and grow a team of consultants, including hiring, placement and career development.
  • Model VERTEX core values and inspire goal achievement through empowerment, learning and creativity among the team.

Qualifications & Competencies

Business Development, Leadership, Strategic Planning

  • Meet or exceed the defined annual budget for the entire Project Advisory practice.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing programs to acquire and expand engagements.
  • Effectively delegate assignments to direct reports and monitor progress.

    • Operations

  • Prepare and execute Project Advisory practice strategic plans aligned with organization vision.
  • Build strong cross‑functional teams to achieve shared goals.
  • Ensure compliance of operations with all local, state and federal regulations.

    • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or engineering field or advanced degree.
  • Minimum 15 years of industry experience and 10+ years as a senior leader of a division or department.
  • Consistently generate a minimum of $3M revenue annually from individual client relationships.
