Product Development Assistant
Position Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Design & Product Development Assistant to support the design and development of new products across multiple categories. The ideal candidate will bring both digital design skills and hands-on creativity, contributing to product concepts, prototypes, and packaging.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Design & Development
- Assist in designing new products, patterns, and concepts
- Support in creating and refining prototypes
- Research materials and construction techniques to improve product quality and efficiency.
- Packaging & Merchandising
- Design packaging, labels, and graphic assets for retail and e-commerce.
- Develop planograms, mockups, and merchandising visuals for presentations to buyers and sales teams.
- Creative Support
- Prepare digital renderings, spec sheets, and technical drawings to communicate design intent.
- Edit and format images for marketing, catalogs, and online listings.
- Assist with brainstorming sessions and trend research to inspire new product ideas.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with product development, sales, and operations teams to ensure design execution aligns with production capabilities.
- Maintain organized digital files, design archives, and sample libraries.
