Location : Sarasota, FL (within 100 miles required)

Schedule : Monday–Thursday, 7 : 00 AM – 5 : 30 PM

Job Type : Full-Time, Hourly

Work Schedule

  • Monday–Thursday
  • 7 : 00 AM – 5 : 30 PM (4-day work week)

We are a water meter installation contractor specializing in large-scale projects for municipal and ESCO customers. Our expertise covers the full spectrum of meter installation services, including AMI / AMR solutions. Position Overview

We are seeking 3 experienced Vacuum Truck Operators to join our Sarasota, FL project team. This role involves operating a vacuum trailer (hitched to a company vehicle) to clean out meter box pits.

This is not solely a driving position — when vac truck work is completed, you’ll also assist with meter installation and related tool work .

Responsibilities

  • Operate a vacuum truck and trailer for meter pit cleaning.
  • Hitch / unhitch trailers and safely transport them with company vehicles.
  • Perform meter installation tasks when vac truck work is complete.
  • Maintain equipment and follow all safety standards.
  • Use tablets or computers for reporting and project tracking.

    • Requirements

    Must-Have Qualifications

  • Valid Florida Driver’s License .
  • Experience pulling a trailer (required).
  • Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and MVR .
  • Basic computer / tablet skills.
  • Reside within 100 miles of Sarasota, FL .

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous vacuum truck experience .
  • Meter installation or utility experience.
