Direct Support Professional - Outpatient

The Direct Support Professional / Addiction Recovery Technician Outpatient is responsible for supervision and transportation of consumers participating in ASAM level 2.1 (IOP) and ASAM level 2.5 (PHP).

This is a full-time benefit eligible position. The schedule is Monday - Friday 8 : 00am - 5 : 00pm.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - JOB SPECIFIC

• Provide group education
• Complete paper and electronic documentation within required time frames
• Attend staff meetings and technician trainings
• Monitor consumers
• Ensure safety of consumers by appropriately responding to crisis situations as they occur
• Follow departmental policies and maintain high standards of professional behavior
• Assist client(s) with transportation as clinically indicated.
• Driving is an essential function of the position
• Other duties as assigned

High School / GED preferred

QUALIFICATION(S) : WORK EXPERIENCE / TRAINING / ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

A valid unrestricted driver's license at the time of hire with the ability to obtain and maintain a class E MO driver's license by the end of 60-day introductory period required
