Shipping Clerk

Are you a highly organized and detail-oriented individual looking to kickstart your career in logistics? We're seeking a motivated and reliable Entry-Level Shipping Clerk to join our client in Beaver Dam, WI! This is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to learn the ins and outs of shipping and receiving. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring our products reach our customers efficiently and accurately.

Job Location   Beaver Dam, WI

Starting Date   ASAP

Employment Term   Temp to hire

Employment Type   Full time

Work Hours (Shift)   1st shift

Starting Pay   $16 / hr

Required Experience   Prior shipping experience is helpful

Responsibilities

  • Prepare outgoing shipments, including packaging, labeling, and creating shipping documents.
  • Assist with receiving incoming shipments, verifying contents against invoices, and storing items appropriately.
  • Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records.
  • Coordinate with carriers for pickups and deliveries.
  • Keep the shipping area clean and organized.
  • Support other warehouse operations as needed.

Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs.
  • Basic computer skills (e.g., data entry).
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior experience in a warehouse or shipping role is a plus, but not required
