Growth Marketing Manager
The Growth Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing multi-channel growth strategies focused on small and medium business (SMB) merchants. This role drives the full funnel of the merchant lifecycle from new customer acquisition through onboarding, engagement, retention, and reactivation. The Growth Marketing Manager will partner closely with Product Marketing, Commercial, and Regional Teams to build, localize, and optimize growth programs that accelerate merchant adoption and business performance.
Growth Strategy & Planning
- Develop and own holistic growth marketing plans supporting merchant / B2B strategy across the SMB segment, aligned with PayPal's global priorities.
- Use data-driven insights to identify growth opportunities across the full merchant lifecycle.
Acquisition & Retention Campaigns
Manage programs to acquire, onboard, and activate new SMB merchants through digital, paid media, content, and in-product channels.Build and optimize retention and reactivation programs to maximize customer lifetime value.Media Planning & Reporting
Lead media strategy planning and optimization across paid, owned, and earned channels.Continuously track and report on growth KPIs, producing regular performance reports and actionable insights.Program Development & Localization
Build scalable, repeatable growth programs and experiments; partner with Product Marketing Managers (PMM) and commercial teams for go-to-market execution.Own regional localization of growth programs, adapting global campaigns for local market needs and nuances.
