The Senior Consultant, collaborating with Managers and other Ryan senior staff, consults with historic building owners, architects, engineers, and contractors, as well as federal, state, and local regulators to facilitate the completion of the process of obtaining Historic Preservation Certification.
The Senior Consultant advises on the availability of federal (and other jurisdictional) tax credits. The Senior Consultant provides knowledgeable technical preservation expertise assisting building owners through the complexity of the historic preservation process.

- May work more independently and autonomously with contractors, owners, and regulators on projects

Minimum of a bachelor's degree with strong writing and research capabilities (in History, Architectural History, Historical Preservation or equivalent preferred); Master's degree preferred.Minimum four years' experience with historic tax credit application projectsAbility to communicate effectively verbally, and write persuasive technical argumentsWork experience in comparable federal, state, or local preservation programs is preferredStrong organizational skills and initiative working in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environmentKeen attention to detailAbility to conduct research both online and in archivesAbility to multi-task and work independently in a deadline-driven and fast-paced environmentComputer Skills :
Technical proficiency in Creative Cloud suite (especially InDesign) to layup photos, create maps, and photo keysCertificates And Licenses :
