Job Title : Sr Mechanical Design Engineer – Medical Device

Job Location : Danvers, Massachusetts (Fully onsite)

Employment Type : W2 contract

Technical Skills :

• Electromechanical design of machinery
• Design of tooling, dies, molds, jigs, or fixtures
• SolidWorks design environment with experience in a PDM environment

Education Required : BSME preferred, 5+ years experience

Responsibilities :

Research, plan, design, verify, validate, and develop mechanical and / or electromechanical products and systems, including metals, instruments, controls, plastics, robots, engines, machines, and mechanical, resonance, hydraulic or heat transfer systems for production, transmission, measurement, and use of energy. Recommend technology options or approaches for system, processes, facility or program improvements in terms of safety, performance, efficiency or costs. May be responsible for the transfer from R&D to manufacturing.

Required Knowledge and Experience :

Advanced knowledge of job area, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. Practical project management knowledge. Minimum 4 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
