About the Role

The rehabilitation team at Good Samaritan is on the lookout for a Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team. You will play a vital role in treating both long-term care residents and short-term rehab patients facing various conditions, including :

Neurological conditions
Orthopedic issues
Balance, falls, and gait challenges

Job Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist, you will :

Plan, organize, and deliver tailored physical therapy programs to help clients recover and enhance their mobility.

Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations for clients affected by injury or disease.

Utilize effective tools and techniques to administer interventions while ensuring safety.

Document client information accurately and establish therapeutic plans, modifying them as needed.

Educate clients and their families about treatment plans and self-exercises for home continuation.

Stay updated with current research to enhance daily treatment practices.

Demonstrate flexibility in work schedules and participate in departmental promotional activities.

Supervise assistants, aides, and students, providing ongoing education and training.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you should have :

Appropriate education level as per state licensure requirements.

Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state(s) of practice.

A valid driver's license may be required.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers, to be obtained within the first 60 days of employment.
