What you'll do...
Maintain a safe work environment and team behavior
Manage the workload of the assigned engineering team
Lead the IE(s) through the new model labor optimization efforts to achieve labor targets, through benchmarking (internal and external), target setting, tracking process change, and replicate across programs / Plants
Plan, engineer, and implement product and non-product related plant actions for aluminum machining and both ICE assembly and Battery assembly departments
Identify cost saving opportunities
Confirm standards are in place
Support the Production Teams
Communication and Recognition
Develop highly competent and motivated people
Create a conducive work environment for the team(s) to complete their assigned responsibilities / tasks
Ensure completion of administrative responsibilities

You'll have...
Education : High School Diploma or GED
Experience : 5 years engineering experience
Aluminum Machining, Gear Manufacturing and Assembly experience
Powertrain engineering experience
Successful candidate must be able to demonstrate leadership in One FORD (leadership) behaviors combined with outstanding interpersonal, teambuilding, and communication skills

Education : Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
Strong problem solving skills
Strong ability to interface with plant hourly, salaried personnel and plant management
Strong ability to present in front of plant management
Competent in the use of data for decision making
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Excellent leadership skills
Need to work well under pressure and to be able to work under crisis management when necessary
Having the ability to work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
