We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of scalable, high-performing technical solutions within the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain, with a particular focus on Commercial and Specialty Lines. In this role, you’ll collaborate with diverse stakeholders to translate business goals into robust technical architectures, ensuring system efficiency and compliance. You will also play a key role in modernization efforts, international expansion, and system integrations — combining strong analytical skills with innovative problem-solving in a collaborative, flexible, and growth-oriented environment.

Accountabilities :

  • Conduct gap analyses of existing systems to identify areas for technical improvement and optimization.
  • Design and implement end-to-end solutions for Property & Casualty insurance operations, with emphasis on scalability and performance.
  • Define data models, integration patterns, and architectural frameworks that align with business and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with business analysts, developers, and product teams to ensure technical feasibility and strategic alignment.
  • Provide architectural guidance for modernization initiatives, cloud adoption, and system interoperability.
  • Support onshore and offshore teams to ensure seamless execution and delivery of enterprise-grade solutions.
  • Participate in solution reviews, documentation, and knowledge transfer sessions to maintain alignment across global teams.

Requirements

  • 8–12 years of experience as a Solution Architect or Technical Architect, preferably within Property & Casualty insurance.
  • Strong understanding of insurance workflows across underwriting, policy administration, claims, and billing systems.
  • Proven experience in performing system gap analysis and designing cloud-based, integrated solutions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative mindset.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS (API Gateway, Lambda, serverless architecture) and modern integration approaches.
  • Familiarity with Canadian insurance regulations and cross-border product expansion preferred.
  • Prior experience in Agile delivery models and integrating AI / ML capabilities into enterprise systems is an advantage.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional or Associate) certification preferred.
